Made to be easy on the eyes

Big letters. The whole grid stays on screen — no zooming, no scrolling — and you choose how big the letters are. Bigger letters mean a smaller grid with fewer words, and that's your trade to make, not ours.
The word list is always there. Never behind a tab, never collapsed into a drawer you have to find again.
Nothing to accidentally tap. Every button has a name as well as a picture.
Works with VoiceOver and large text. Every letter says where it is and what it is, and a word can be picked out without a drag at all.

Drag, or just tap twice

Drag across a word if that's comfortable. If it isn't, tap its first letter and then its last — the same move, without holding a finger down. Neither one asks you to be accurate: a drag that wanders off true still lands on the word, and a word spelled backwards counts just the same. You never have to drag the right way.

Hints are free. Always.

Press Hint and the first letter of a word you haven't found lights up. Press it again and the whole word shows. Press it again and it moves to the next one. There is no limit, no cooldown, no video to watch and no coins to spend. Unlimited hints are the point of this app, not a thing we ration.

Themes worth reading

Backyard birds, trees, flowers, weather, the seashore, the kitchen, the workshop, the seasons. Every list is written by hand — no scraped filler, no words that aren't words. Each theme remembers where you left off, so you can keep several going at once. And tap any word in the list to see what it means, right there on the puzzle.

No timers, no lives, no streaks

There is no clock. Nothing counts down. Nothing resets if you miss a day.
Put a puzzle down for a week and it's exactly where you left it.
Want it harder? Choose which ways words run — across and down, or add diagonals, or all eight directions with words spelled backwards. Ask for more words. Or hide the word list entirely and find them from the theme alone.
Today's Puzzle is the same board for everyone in the world that day, good for comparing notes across the family. Finish it and it stays finished; there is no streak to break by missing tomorrow.
