Made to be easy on the eyes

Big numbers. The whole board stays on screen — no zooming, no scrolling — and the number pad underneath is sized for the tap that actually commits.
Pencil marks you can read. Large and dark enough to use, not the faint grey specks most apps leave you to guess at.
Nothing to accidentally tap. Every button has a name as well as a picture. Starting over asks first.
Works with VoiceOver and large text. Every square says where it is and what is in it.

Hints that explain, not just reveal

Press Hint once and it tells you what to look for, in plain words: which row, which column, which box, and why the number has nowhere else to go. Press again and it shows you where. Press a third time and it fills the square in. Hints are free and unlimited — no videos to watch, no coins to spend, no waiting.

Honest difficulty

A puzzle here is rated by the hardest step it actually needs, never by how many numbers it starts with. That shortcut is why other apps hand you an "easy" that stops you cold and a "hard" you finish without thinking. Easy needs only the simplest steps; Expert needs the hardest patterns. And no puzzle, at any level, ever needs a guess — if it cannot be worked out by reasoning, we don't ship it.

No timers, no lives, no streaks

There is no clock. Nothing counts down. Nothing resets if you miss a day.
Undo as far back as you like.
Choose whether mistakes are pointed out as you go, only when a number repeats, or not at all — none of it ends a game or takes anything away.
